Test samples may become damaged or deteriorate during testing, storage, or transport, and must be considered as scrap once the inspection has been completed. Test samples are not subjected to any post‑treatment process.
In general, in the post‑inspection phase, the laboratory will proceed as described in point five (5).
Exceptionally, if despite this notice the client requests the return of the inspected samples, the laboratory will proceed as described in point six (6). By requesting the return of the samples, the client releases the laboratory from all responsibility for any damage the samples may suffer and for any subsequent use made of them.
